March: Sex, Death, and Oysters

SexDeathOystersFor our March 10th meeting, we’re reading Sex, Death, and Oysters by Robb Walsh. Walsh writes for the Houston Press, and has received many James Beard Award nominations for his work. This book started out as a cover story for the Press in March 2004, and in addition to the book, it’s also turned into a blog. You can also go to Robb Walsh’s site to see pictures he took while researching the book.

We’ll meet Tuesday, March 10, and we’re planning to meet at The Fish Market downtown at 612 22nd Street South to enjoy oysters while we talk. (Book talk is free, yet fun; oysters, drinks, or dinner are on your own.)
